The Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) is a 501(c)(3), non-profit, non-partisan, public policy research institute. Our mission is to promote an economically vibrant, strategically secure, and politically free Europe with close and enduring ties to the United States. Our analytical team consists of the world’s leading experts on Central-East Europe, Russia, and its neighbors. Through cutting-edge research, analysis, and programs we provide fresh insight on energy, security, and defense to government officials and agencies; we help transatlantic businesses navigate changing strategic landscapes; and we build networks of future Atlanticist leaders.

CEPA believes that the strategic theater encompassing the region between Berlin to Moscow, and from the Barents Sea to the Black Sea, represents an area vital of strategic interest to the United States. It was across this geographic space where the vision of Europe “whole, free, and at peace” was first achieved in the 20th century—yet today it is under threat. From Wilson and Masaryk to Reagan, Havel, and Wałęsa, CEPA works to preserve and extend the shared legacy of fighting for freedom, and America’s essential role in Europe, among a new generation of Atlanticists.

Through innovative ideas, effective relationships, and media engagement CEPA works to bring about positive change in Central-East Europe and Russia by strengthening NATO’s frontline, better understanding the Kremlin’s strategic aims, promoting greater solidarity within the EU, and bolstering Atlanticism

Launched by the Kosciuszko Institute in 2015, CYBERSEC is a successful and well-established annual public policy conference dedicated to strategic security aspects of the global technology revolution. It has embraced the need for trust-based, multilateral and cross-sectoral cooperation. As a result, CYBERSEC is not just a conference, it is a thriving international community that combines the knowledge and experience of experts and professionals. In 2019 we will continue to channel the Community’s energy into producing actionable, ground-breaking reports and recommendations that will shape policies and secure the world’s digital DNA.
