We are pleased to announce the winners of CYBERSEC Young Leaders, a competition for MA and PhD students interested in interdisciplinary aspects of cybersecurity!

This year, the authors of the best articles are:

  • Amit Elazari - UC Berkeley School of Law

"Private Ordering Shaping Cybersecurity Policy: The Case of Bug Bounties"

  • Ginevra Fontana - Master's Student in International Security Studies at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna & University of Trento. Selected Student at Collegio Clesio. Collaborator at the Center for Cyber Security and International Relations Studies of the University of Florence. Particularly interested in Armed Conflicts, Cybersecurity, Arms Trade and Terrorism Studies.

"Error 404: Drone Not Found Smartphones as Unmanned Aerial Vehicles’ Ground Control Stations:  an overview of cyber-related vulnerabilities"

  • Kateryna Isirova - PhD Student at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Computer science department. Research field: information security, post-quantum cryptography.

"Blockchain technology as the perspective instrument for ensuring electronic trusted services in conditions of cyberthreats"

  • Isabella Oldani -  PhD candidate at the School of International Studies of the University of Trento (Italy). Her research mainly focuses on data protection issues in relation to EU data export restrictions. She is currently a visiting research student at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies of the Queen Mary University of London where she is working alongside the Cloud Legal Project. Previously, she has worked for an international law firm in Milan and interned at the Permanent Mission of Italy to the United Nations in Vienna.
